A little more memory for your Mac
Keep text, links, images, and files close. A native clipboard history for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
On Mac, Copywise works quietly in the background. Your history is a shortcut away.
Keep using the shortcut you already know. Copywise remembers what you copy.
Bring up your history, close to where you are typing. Search or choose a recent item.
Paste the selected item and carry on with the thought you were having.
Find your way back to a useful thought, a reference, or that thing you copied yesterday.
Search by a few words. Narrow the results by content type, source, or date.
Search text inside images, then select and copy what you need. Text recognition happens on your device.
Useful replies. Project references. Words you return to. Give the things you reuse a place of their own.
Bring project links, writing references, or everyday replies together in named Collections.
Star an item to keep it beyond your automatic history cleanup.
Clean up whitespace or change text case before copying. Pro also lets you rename items and edit saved text.
From a single line to a visual reference, every kind of content gets room to be recognized.
A useful sentence, a code snippet, a reply worth keeping.
Recognizable previews for pages you want to revisit.
Browse a visual grid and take a closer look.
Find and preview copied files on their source device.
Save a thought on iPhone. Pick it up on Mac. Optional private iCloud sync brings text, links, and images across your devices with Pro.
Automatic clipboard history, a familiar shortcut, and a panel that stays close to your work.
Save through the share sheet or Quick Save. Reach your history from the app, keyboard, and widgets.
Find your starred items in system search. Pro makes all retained history searchable there.
Requires macOS 15 or later and iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
Your history starts on your device. No Copywise account, no behavior tracking, and no remotely transmitted telemetry.
Optional Pro sync uses your private iCloud. It stays off until you turn it on.
Files and folders never upload. A visual preview can sync, encrypted, only with your permission.
Pause recording, exclude apps, or clear your history. These controls are included in Free.
Find and reuse your recent history for free. Choose Pro for longer memory, private sync, and more room to organize.
A complete recent clipboard history.
Every Pro plan unlocks the same features.
Actual App Store pricing may vary by country or region. The annual trial renews automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account before it ends.
Mac records clipboard changes in the background. On iPhone and iPad, save explicitly through the app, share sheet, Quick Save, or Shortcuts. Optional capture while Copywise is open does not record clipboard changes made while it is in the background.
It lets Copywise position near the text cursor and perform a paste you request. Copywise does not record what you type. Without permission, history still works: the panel opens in the center and you can copy an item, then paste it manually. Some apps do not expose a cursor position, so the panel opens in the center there too.
No. Your history is stored locally and iCloud sync is off by default. Private sync is an optional Pro feature for supported content across devices using the same Apple Account.
No original files or folders are uploaded. They stay on the source device. With your permission, an encrypted visual preview can sync through your private iCloud so you can recognize a file elsewhere.
Yes. Monthly, annual, and lifetime purchases unlock the same current Pro features. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Eligible annual subscribers receive a 14-day trial; the App Store shows your local price and trial eligibility before purchase.
New iCloud syncing stops, but existing local and iCloud data remain. Copywise provides a grace period and asks you to confirm the downgrade before Free retention rules resume.
A little less searching. A little more room for the work you love.
